Welcome Home pt. 2

Nudist colonies are ingenious for one reason: they have highly reduced costs in terms of clothing cleaning, and everything with the like. Downside? It's super weird. Because everyone, aside from service folks, are exposed. And because nudist colonies are typically in lower tropical and warm climates, the inhabitants must be more generous with the sunscreen. That being said, chances are, I wouldn't join one. Why do I mention it? Because it's really obvious, or will be later on.

Social Media

Surely the concept of social media will apply just as well for sentient pets as well as for any regular person. The more obvious accommodations are as follows, with the lack of fingers, how does one type? More likely than not, it's true pets will rely on speech-to-text applications that capture their unique thoughts. Assuming the family affords the pets privileges of their own, it's possible the pet becomes familiar with technology possessed by the family, or even the fact the family gifts an item of technology to the pet. in which case that would be the pet's route of more actively sharing their thoughts.

Although, there are some considerations to be made in which rights should be afforded. Because they are animals of a different species, does that mean they need tighter constrictions on what they can do, or are they limited to fewer constrictions for the same fact. For example, what happens in the case of slander or libel either from human to pet or from pet to pet or from pet to human. Should a case be pursued? In all likely cases this would only happen should an influential animal hurts the business of someone in a serious and effective way.

T.V. Shows/Netflix

Any intelligent business man would realize there would be an untapped market for pet audiences. As I've alluded to before, the obviously different tastes sentient animals may feature could propel a new dynamic in the film and entertainment industry. With untold creative and independent works to appeal to the new masses, there would be interesting takes on possibly old stories. With that, we could feature many new world of creativity spawned from the desires of our furry companions.

Clothes

The whole point about the nudist colony is brought about at this point. The standard consensus is that humans should wear clothes, and for animals, the instance is optional mostly. By and large, it is because animals didn't care, as opposed to typical humans who, having grown up in a more fundamentalist culture at a point in time, opposed nudity for the sake of decency. (A move I approve of for the most part but that's not important right now.) In which case, what would be the legality of the situation. Would clothes be mandated now? Or as long as the animals express their own views that we can relax with having nude animals roaming.

All the same, could we consider that perhaps if the animals desire to avoid clothing, that somehow humans should have the right to as well? One argument may lie in the anatomy difference, with that an animal's undersides are almost never exposed in normal walking and standing as much as a human's would be. Our "undersides" are in the front, so to speak. In which case, the balance would probably not remain with favoring clothes on humans and not on animals, and in which case, in the future, some critical new balance must be reached a new critical. Only one out of many...

I also wanted to apologize for the gap in posts, and I trust that I will push through in my efforts to create more posts.

All the same, Happy Thinking!
